Q:GeoBlue Insurance quote With regard to my proposed Explorex Premier Elite Health Insurance, when you say "80 for the Coinsurance", do you mean I have to pay first the 20% before the Coinsurance pay for the 80%? Is New Jersey in my plan in the network? If I travel to California 3 months after I am covered by my plan in New Jersey, can California be considered in the network?

A:
The plan will pay 80% and you will pay 20%. This plan is available in both states so you would be covered in both places. Does my plan mean that I will always pay 20% of whatever is the hospitalization cost? Thank you for your interest in purchasing GeoBlue Xplorer Premier insurance. Please note that, within the U.S., within the PPO network, you will have to pay 20% and insurance company will pay 80%. However, once you have paid $2,000 out of your pocket in such manner, after that, the insurance company will pay 100% up to the policy maximum in eligible expenses. Please note that it is not that entire state of New Jersey or California is in the network. That is NOT how the PPO network works. Each individual hospital or the doctor chooses to be part of the PPO network or not. You can search for such provides in the area of your interest at /geo-blue-ppo-network/ You can get the complete information about GeoBlue Explorer plan at /expatriate-health-insurance/ You can also apply online on that web site. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Q:Parents visiting from Viet Nam Hi, I'm looking to buying insurance for my parents who will be traveling from Vietnam to US in March. I'm currently interested in Atlas Medical Insurance. However, there is a notice for California which makes me a little concern. Does it really apply since my parents are not California residents and if there are dispute, are they protected? Also, I saw the company has done many transactions with Indian. Since my parents coming from Vietnam, can they still buy and receive the same benefit? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank.

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing visitors insurance for your parents. You can purchase Atlas America for anyone visiting the US from any country. It is not limited to a single country. Therefore, you can definitely purchase it for your visiting parents. Your parents are not residents of CA. Therefore, the notice you saw is not really applicable to them. Please read /travel-and-student-insurance-california-notice/ for more information. They are definitely protected for eligible expenses as per terms and conditions of the insurance. If they were not eligible, we would not be selling it to them. I hope that answers your questions. You can purchase Atlas America insurance online at /atlasamerica-insurance/ If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at any time. Hi, I just purchased Atlas plan for my parents. Upon printing ID card, it says that my parents are required to pre-certify all hospitalizations and surgeries. So if my parents have emergency that need to go to the hospital, we have to ask for permission first? Please clarify that for me? Also, although I purchased my parents as the same time, they will separately receive the same benefit right? Thank you, 1. In case of an emergency, you have to call within 48 hours. Read /visitors-insurance-precertification-requirements/ 2. All benefits are person. Deductible is per person too. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Could you please let me know the cancellation policy for the insurance. If there are an emergency that my parents can not come to the U.S., do I get refunded ? Please look at the cancellation rule for Atlas America at /myaccount/ You can purchase it online at /atlasamerica-insurance/ If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Q:Patriot Platinum America questions Hi, I have just purchased your Patriot Platinum America Travel medical insurance and wonder if you could clarify the following info for me? - What are classified as "In the PPO Network" and "Out of PPO Network"? - Could you please provide me with a list or website to check PPO Network? - What is "International Provider Access (IPA)"? - Do you have a website or list for the IPA providers or facilities? - What is "Independent Preferred Provider Organization"? - Do you have a website or list for a list of providers or facilities? - How does your Global Concierge and Assistance Services work? Do you have a website for this? - I am in the U.S. from Nov 13 to Nov 26. If medical situation occurs and I am admitted to a U.S. hospital, say, from Nov 24 to Dec 10, would I be covered from Nov 27 through Dec 10, or the policy only pays up to Nov 26? Thanks very much for your help and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Best,

A:
Hello, Thank you purchasing Patriot Platinum America insurance. We appreciate your business. PPO stands for Preferred Provider Organization. That is a network of providers (doctors, hospitals etc.) that participates in the insurance. If you use one of those providers in the list, that is in PPO network. Otherwise, it is out of PPO network. You can find the PPO network list by clicking ‘Search Providers’ at /international-medical-ppo-network/ International Provider Access (IPA) is basically international PPO, outside the US. That link is also at /international-medical-ppo-network/ For Global Concierge and Assistance Services, you will have to call the phone number given on your insurance card. As long as it is a covered expense and if the medical condition occurs from Nov 13 to Nov 26, in your example, you will be covered up to Dec 10. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Q:Traveling to USA from Italy Hello, i'm an italian man 33yo, travelling to usa with 32yo wife and 3yo daughter. I'm considering to apply to a us insurance travel policy to face medical expenses during our trip, if necessary. What i need is a company that pays directly all the expenses with no deductible at all with 1.000.000 max/person. I found atlas company suitable and very closed to what i'm looking for. I'd like also to know how to manage the situation if something happens, have i to call the insurance company or just to show the certificate to the hospital staff? Can you suggest me an insurance company or can you suggest me to apply with an italian travel insurance instead? Please, can you contact me by email to give some explanation? Thanks a lot in advance and sorry for my english. Best regards nicola

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing Atlas America insurance. Yes, it can provide $1,000,000 maximum per person with $0 deductible. As Atlas America participates in PPO network, and there are many participating providers in the network, you will just show the insurance card to them and they can bill directly. You can purchase it online at /atlasamerica-insurance/ If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at any time. thank you for your email. Is this insurance offering 3rd part liability cover on request? What happens if I go to a NON-PPO network provider? Thanks and regards 1. No, we don’t offer liability insurance. In the US, the same company does not offer medical as well as liability insurance as those are two different lines. 2. Regarding out of network claims, please read /international-travel-insurance/ Please let me know if you have any other questions. Oh perfect, I read the claim process, it's very clear. 1. Our trip will start the 15th October, if I apply today with Atlas America how long does it take to get the ID card or certificate of insurance? 2. Can you suggest me some U.S. Insurance companies covering for personal liability? Thanks 1. You will get everything in the email right away. Paper documents can be mailed to you the next business day. 2. I wish I could help. Unfortunately, I am not aware of any such providers, especially for people just visiting or temporarily in the US. Are the email sent documents enough to be covered? I'm not sure I'll get the paper documents on time.... Yes, they are enough. Most people get everything by email only, nothing by paper. you've been very helpful and patient Thanks a lot for the help and all the support given I wish you all the best Best Regards You are welcome. You can purchase it online at /atlasamerica-insurance/ If you need anything else, please let me know.
