Q:Hello, I am interested in purchasing health insurance for my partner and I, ages 31 and 32. We are both U.S. citizens and currently live in Australia under Visas subclass 457 and 462. I spoke to one of your agents and specifically asked about any restrictions for obtaining your comprehensive Diplomat America insurance for 18 days while traveling in the US. I moved to Australia on Oct 1st, and will return to Australia on Jan 1st 2019. Your agent stated that I qualify for insurance as long as I plan to return to Australia. However, when I try to purchase the insurance I am unable to indicate that my home country is Australia. Does this mean I am not eligible to purchase temporary insurance for a short visit to the U.S.?
Q:Hello, we're making the move to Ontario and OHIP recommends private health/travel insurance for its 3-month wait period OHIP requires of new residents. My daughter (3 years old) and my son (1 year old) both require health insurance. They will be new residents of Ontario. Because they are so young, they will need to visit the doctor regularly for their government-required vaccines before they go to school/preschool. Would these well-baby/well-child visits and vaccines be covered by any of your insurance plans? And which plan might that be if so?
