Q:Hi we are looking to purchase visitors insurance. My mother has rheumatic heart disease and about four years back she underwent mechanical valve replacement. She also has Sjogren's syndrome. What kind of coverage/premium are we looking at?

A:
The only plan we have for people visiting on a B2 visitor visa that can provide some pre-existing condition coverage if the proposed insured is fit to travel and not specifically coming to the U.S. for medical treatment is the Visitors Protect plan. It can provide either a $20,000 or $25,000 benefit depending on the proposed insureds age for pre-existing conditions built into the plan. That benefit has it's own $1500 deductible. However, there is a minimum 90 day purchase for that plan. So even if you entered in the 3 weeks of dates, it would charge you the premium for the 90 day minimum and the plan is not extendable so you would need to purchase for the full duration of their stay at the time of purchase. /visitors-protect-insurance/ You can run quotes and review the plan information through the above plan link. Please let us know if you have additional questions.

Q:My mother is scheduled for her Green Card interview in March. However, she has a pre existing health condition and requires dialysis 3 times a week. I need help in determining what insurance I can get for her and that she will be eligible for as a New Immigrant. Thank you.

A:
We can provide the Insurance necessary for the Greencard interview, However short term insurance plans are not meant to cover for preventive care or routine maintenance such as dialysis, so the cost would most likely be out of pocket until the Greencard is approved and she can acquire a domestic plan. Q:After green card got first entry but going back to home country after one month .Should I get ur policy or I should continue my country travel policy .On next time can I purchase ur policy from my country India .Approxmately how much cost for me and my spouse .DATE OF BIRTH ME-26/01/1946. A:
If you are visiting the U.S. on a green card you can find plans here: /green-card-holders-visiting-usa-insurance/ These are the plans that will cover a green card holder visting the U.S. for a short amount of time and you can run quotes through the above link. However, if you are residing here, none of these plans will provide benefits to you as you would need to enroll into a domestic insurance plan. Eligibility for domestic insurance makes you ineligible for our plans. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Q:Is USA travel insurance is mandatory for visitors ?

A:
Entry requirements to any country would need to be verified with the consulate or on the country's government website. Once you have any requirement information, we can then assist with an appropriate plan to meet them. Please let us know if you have additional questions.

Q:My mother is 87 years old with preexisting conditions. Im interested in a robust health insurance for 6 months. She would be entering the country with a tourist visa. May I please have information regarding monthly premiums. Thank you.

A:
We have one plan if the proposed insureds are elgible for the plan based on the eligbility requirements, that can provide some pre-existing condition benefits if they are fit to travel and not coming to the U.S. specifically for medical treatment. For someone who is 87 years old it can provide up to $50,000 of coverage for new illnesses and new injuries contracted after the effective date of the policy and a $20,000 benefit for pre-existing conditions with an individual $1500 deductible. It also has a 90 day minimum purchase and is not extendable so you would need to purchase it for the full 6 month duration when purchasing. /visitors-protect-insurance/ Please let us know if you have additional questions.
