Q:My visitors insurance was purchased for 6 months with deductible of 250. I used insurance in the first six months and also met the deductible. In case of extension of the same, do I need to meet the deductible again before the coverage starts?

A:
The deductible is one time per policy period. If you extend your coverage, you are still within the same policy period. A poilcy period for your plan will not exceed 364 days in total. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:ME &MY WIFE TRAVELLING USA &CANADA FOR 58 DAYS.MY WIFE HAS BP,UNDER GONE BOTH KNEE SURGERY,GALBLADDER SURGERY &HAV tachycardia ONCE

A:
Plans for visitors cover for new illnesses and new injuries that manifest or occur after the effective date. They do not cover for preventative care, routine maintenance, or pre-existing conditions. Some plans have any acute onset benefit for pre-existing conditions, however, that is not coverage for general pre-existing condition care. /visitor-insurance-acute-onset-of-pre-existing-conditions/ If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:Hi there, unfortunately, it seems that my apple watch was lost on my trip. I was wondering if my policy (Travel LX) would cover this? Let me know, and thank you so much for your time!

A:
You can refer to your plan's certificate wording for coverage information, however, we are not aware of a benefit for the loss of a personal item as mentioned. We would recommend calling the claims department for your policy for verification of coverage. Their number would be listed on your ID card. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
