Q:Let me narrate my requirement of travel and medical/health insurance for non-us citizen for visiting to his/her Home Country; My son aged 34 years resident of Washington State USA, wish to travel back to Home Country and while coming back to USA wish to travel for sightseeing and attending some functions (please note that there is no official work or on duty visits) to Asian countries i.e. China, South Korea RoK. His travel period is going to start on 27 Nov and end on 30 Dec 2018. I also need the same insurance for my two daughter aged 28 years, one in Massachusetts State and second one is in California State. They are also accompanying with my son All of them are Non-US Citizens, doing job on H1B visa in United States and holding Indian Passport Please keep in mind they are visiting their Home Country. And most of insurances are only for those who travel out side of Home Country. Please suggest Fully Comprehensive Zero Deductible travel and medical/health insurance plan for Non-US citizen working in united states and visiting his/her home country. You early response will be highly appreciated. Awaiting your reply, please.

A:
We would be glad to assist. The plan that we would recommend for their travel, would be the Patriot International plan. They would have to each have their own policy, and it would cover them anywhere outside their home country. Please be advised, that their home country is currently the U.S., because this is where they reside while on their H1 visas. They are visiting their country of citizenship. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:I am wondering which insurance plan is best for me. I am a US citizen but living in Vietnam. I will be going to California for two weeks this month. So I need coverage in Vietnam for the next two months (while in between jobs) and also including two weeks in the US. Thank you so much in advance for your help!

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. You would have to purchase separate plans for this situation. You can purchase Atlas International to cover you while you are in Vietnam and between jobs and then Patriot America Plus for the short visit to the US. If you need additional assistance please feel free to contact our office.

Q:I have purchased "Atlas Travel Insurance" from you in the past, and I have been happy with it. I have two questions regarding temporary Health Insurance that you sell I am a US Citizen living in the United States. Can I purchase a "temporary" health insurance plan from you to use as a supplement to my legally required health insurance. The HMO plans available to me do not provide emergency coverage outside of my local area of residence. Can I purchase a plan from, you for an entire year that will provide coverage in those area not covered by my HMO? I have a daughter and grandson who occasionally visit me here in the US. In the past I have purchased temporary travel insurance from you for my daughter and I have been happy. But now she has a son (my grandson) who was born in the United States and therefore is a US Citizen. She and he both live in Japan, but they do occasionally visit me here. Can I purchase health insurance for her and for my US Citizen grandson for their visits to see me in the US? These would be short-term visits such as for a month or so. My concern is that some temporary policies exclude sales to US Citizens, although I am unclear whether that exclusion applies to children of foreigners or for minors. I understand that you do not write insurance to persons who are currently inside of Washington State. (I am a resident of Washington State.) But I understand that it is possible to purchase a policy when I am physically outside of Washington State. Is this still the case?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. The available coverage is only going to cover someone outside of their home country so we would not be able to offer you any coverage within the United States to supplement your domestic plan. There are plans that you can purchase for your daughter and grandson to cover within the United States for a short period as they would be outside of their home country of Japan. For your daughter and grandson they can purchase the Patriot America plus plan for coverage in the United States. If you need any additional assistance please contact our office.

Q:My wife came here June 25, 2018 and we were married on August 18th. We are still saving up to get her green card or aos as it's also referenced as. In the meantime what options do I have for getting her insurance, or if I get insurance can I add her even though she doesn't have a ssn yet? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A:
There are plans that she is eligible for that will cover any new illness or injury that occurs after the effective date. The plans will not cover pre-existing conditions, preventative care, or routine maintenance. One plan you can look at is the International Major Medical plan or the short term domestic plan.

Q:I got married to a man with French citizenship on April 19, 2018. We are in the process of getting his green card and he is living with me in Eloy, Arizona. Would your insurance work well for him?

A:
The plans available will cover the new accident and new illness that happen after the effective date of the policy. There are plans that will cover a new immigrant until they are eligible to enroll into a domestic insurance in the United States.
