Q:Need to find out information on eligibility of Bridge plan insurance for my mother in law. She came to US on Jan 15 2019 ( was there for about 3-4 months). She has had her green card since 2011 so about 8-9 years, over 70- years of age(DOB 14/10/1947). We are trying for medicaid/medicare for her but was wondering if she is eligible to buy this insurance till she gets something here so may be something for 3-4 weeks. If we needed to use it then we don't want to find out later that she was not eligible so want to check that. If she is eligible, can you send me quote for 3-4 weeks for that insurance. Another question is if she doe get Medicaid ( for part A which covers mainly hospitalization, do you have a policy that will cover the Part B.. if yes what are the cost/details for that. Also one more thing, can you send me a summary of all the payments that we did in 2017 for her policies.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. The Bridge plan is available to a green card holder that is not eligible for Medicare. Once they become eligible they will need to at that time enroll. In order to receive a quote you will have to submit an application for coverage as this plan is underwritten for coverage and rates determined accordingly. Typically if someone is eligible for Medicare Part A they will be able to enroll into Part B as well and will need to do so. If you need receipts for previous plans you will need to send an email with the certificate numbers of the policy you need. If you need any additional assistance please contact our office.

I have selected the option to not receive any documents via postal mail, and I wanted to ask you what I need to bring with me, on my person, to ensure I will not have any trouble in case I have any health issues. I have the ID card I printed at the end of the procedure, but I don't know if I need something else as well.
