Q:There used to be an option to receive an insurance ID card via the post office? Where is that link?

A:
It looks as though the physical ID card was selected to be mailed at the time of application. You may expect the ID card in the mail between 5-7 business days from your purchase date. Q:My parents are flying to the states from India from Dec 22 to June 14 and I want to get insurance from them. There is a lot of information out there and I am trying to make a decision based on where to buy insurance. My primary question is coverage for pre-existing conditions. The reason for asking this is that the last time my sister bought insurance here in US for her in-laws. Her father in law was sick and we had to take him to emergency. However the insurance company told that they would not cover as the condition was pre-existing. Are there any insurances in US that cover acute onset of pre-existing conditions

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. There are numerous plans available that will offer the acute onset of pre-existing condition coverage. You may view and quote plans in the COVID-19 Travel Medical Insurance section. Once you have entered in the appropriate information you will be able to view the applicable plans. Keep in mind that although some plan will offer the acute onset benefit, they will still exclude the coverage for pre-existing conditions, preventative and routine care. Please read over the benefits and certificate wording of the policy that interests you and if you have additional questions you may also call our office at +1 (866) 467-8289.

Q:Is there a maximum age?

A:
This is dependent on the plan you are wanting to purchase. Most of the plans will offer coverage for ages less than 100. However, there are plans that will still offer coverage at a lower policy maximum for ages up to 110. Should you have additional questions or need further assistance please let us know. You may also call our office at +1 (866) 467-8289.
