Q:I'm supposed to go to the US for the military training as a Korean Officer. We will get the A2 visa as a soldier. I'll stay at Alabama for 1 year and 1 month. Then, I am requested the insurance for my family. But, in your homepage I couldn't proceed for the entire duration in the US. I'd like to make a contract for 1 year and 1 month. So, is there the way that I set up the my insurance for that periods?

A:
The recommended plan for coverage would be the plan Patriot America Plus. You can purchase this plan for a maximum of 12 months one time and we can manually go in and extend the plan for the additional month that is needed for coverage to satisfy your requirement. This plan will cover any new accidents or new illness that happen after the effective date of the policy. Please use the link for more information about the Patriot America Plus plan. Please feel free to contact our office if you need any further assistance.

Q:I will be travelling to the USA for a period of 3 months. I am UK citizen and have Type 1 Diabetes. I cannot bring my full amount of insulin with me and will require medical insurance that will allow me to obtain my prescriptions during my visit. Please can you advise whether you have a policy that would suit this?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. There are no short term health insurance plans available on the market for a visitor which will provide coverage for prescriptions which are in relation to a pre-existing condition. There are plans like the Patriot America Plus plan for example, which will include a prescription discount card. The discount card can be used at the pharmacy for any prescription. I have included a link of the plan details for your review. If you decide to purchase you may do so online or over the phone by contacting our office at (866) INSUBUY. If you have any additional questions please let us know.

Q:Hi, Me and my wife Bulgarian citizens. We are planning a trip to Peru in November but we have a small child and wonder what kind of insurance should we buy in order to get (full or partial) refund of the money we spend on our trip, like plane tickets, excursions, hotel accommodation, etc. in case our child gets a flu, virus or some other trivial illness. He is not travelling with us and would stay with my mother-in-law. Is this risk, as well as the risk of my mother-in-law contracting the same trivial illness included in "Trip cancellation" policy or we should buy "Cancel for Any Reason" policy? If the second, are eligible to do so as non-US residents/citizens? Thanks a lot! Kind regards

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. The trip insurance plans available which provide coverage for the Cancel for any reason are available only to U.S. Residents. You may purchase a trip insurance policy which is available to non-U.S. Residents which will provide coverage in the event you cancel your trip due to unforeseen events listed in the policy wording. We have provided links below of the plan options available. You may purchase using the links provided or over the phone by contacting our office at (866) INSUBUY
