Q:What kind of visitor insurance will be available for my father traveling from India to Ohio. He is 75 years old and is diagnosed with Parkinson's.

A:
As a broker, We provide insurance from many companies. Unfortunately, there is no insurance which provides coverage for Parkinson's. Insurance will pay for any new sickness, injuries or accidents that may occur after the effective date of the policy. We have some plan that provide an Acute Onset of Pre-existing Conditions. But most likely, Parkinson's might not come under an acute onset of pre-ex. Please look at Safe Travels USA Comprehensive plan. You can compare the above plan with our other plans at our website. Please feel free to contact us if you need any further clarification.

Q:I have few question regarding the Atlas Exchange rate insurance. Is it eligible for UCLA extension school (F1 visa, see attachment below ) Does this program cover recreational surfing and skateboarding? Would I have to pay if I need to go to a doctor? (if it is not the emergency room) is there any payment for the emergency room? I am doing surf and skate for fun, on a daily basis. so, I need insurance that will cover me in case I get injured from those kinds of sports.

A:
Please look at Atlas Exchange Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions. Yes, both of those activities in a recreational form would be covered under the Atlas Exchange plan. Keep in mind that only the traditional form of surfing is covered, and not the kite or wind variations.

Q:I will be going to the US on a J1 visa with spouse and 2 dependents. I checked quotations for the Atlas Exchange and Patriot Exchange policies. These seem very similar but the premiums are 1000USD different per year. Please could you explain the difference in price? The Atlas policy doesn't seem to charge for children but is there a difference in coverage? Many thanks.

A:
The reason there is a difference in premium is because the Atlas Exchange plan is considered to be a family friendly plan. The Atlas series plans will cover children under age 9 for no additional cost for each covered adult and coverage will be the same as the covered adults limits on the plan. The Patriot Exchange Program will require premium for each covered individual. If you need any additional clarification please contact our office.
