Q:Insurance for pre-existing conditions I have a client who needs coverage for an overseas trip, he is a US Citizen 67 years old, had a heart attack in 2005. How do I get him appropriate coverage that will cover his pre existing conditions?? Please Help.

A:
Please look at TravelGap Excursion at /travel-health-insurance/ Please let me know if you have any other questions. This has no look back for pre ex, am I to assume then that is how it covers pre -ex? I don't really see where they say pre ex is covered other than in the definition of terms in the certificate. Thank you for your response and help. /travel-health-insurance/ Look under 'Exclusions' section and in that, look for the paragraph named 'Pre-existing conditions'. The person must have a major medical active insurance while in the US to qualify for this. To further understand how TravelGap Excursion insurance works, please visit /travel-health-insurance/

Q:Global Medical Insurance Directory I am looking at your Global Medical Insurance Policy ; Can you please advise me as to if Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville, Indiana.. 46755 is part of your PPO directory.

A:
No, Here are the nearest hospitals in the area. You can buy it online at /expatriate-health-insurance/ 15 DEKALB MEMORIAL HOSPITAL 1316 E 7TH ST AUBURN, IN 46706 (260) 925-4600 20 PARKVIEW LAGRANGE HOSPITAL 207 N TOWNLINE RD LAGRANGE, IN 46761 (260) 463-2143 But, if something happened and I was ever in the position to need care at this Kendallville hospital ( when visiting my mom or…) I could still use it but pay the $250 non PPO fee ….and still be covered by the policy? If you go out of network there will not be any negotiated rate. Meaning that I pay my deductible and IMG pays the rest. ? For instance.. if I had to go to the emergency room at Parkview Noble… I pay my deductible and IMG picks up the rest.. even though Parkview Noble is not a PPO ?? I am in Haiti … and visit my mother in Kendallville, Indiana… What if I am in an auto accident or have a heart attack… or something that required me to go to Kendallville Noble, which is 1 miles away from my mom’s house…. The bottom line is… am I covered ? or do I have to try to get to Lagrange, 25 miles away ? You can always go out of the network. If you go out of the network, you have to first pay the deductible. Then insurance company pays 80% for first $5,000 in covered medical expenses, and 100% after that up to the policy maximum. Thanks for the clarification.. that is all I wanted to know ! I will be finalizing my purchase soon. You can purchase online at /expatriate-health-insurance/

Q:Patriot America visitors medical insurance - need help I got your email from the immihelp discussions. My parents are in US already.they arrived on dec 10th. is there anyway I can buy insurnace for them from the date they arrived or which will cover this whole month.? I am looking to buy for both of my parents. my father aged 66 years and mother age 50. I saw a condition in the eligibilty requirements that the patriot america will not cover if the insurance is not purchased within 30 days of arrival. Please let me know your suggestions thanks

A:
No matter what your age is, you can always purchase Patriot America before coming to the US, or within 30 days of arrival in the US. If you are 65 years of age or above, you must not be without insurance for 30 days or more in order to purchase the insurance. Therefore, either purchase the insurance within 30 days of arrival in the US or have prior insurance that didn't expire 30 days or more prior to the effective date of this insurance.
