Q:Is there any way that the insurance company would accept an undertaking from the insured that there is no pre-existing condition and that the insured will reimburse them if such claims arise in contrary to the undertaking?

A:
With the affordable care act currently in place there is unfortunately not a plan that can be created for this type of situation as the ACA plan are already in readily available. If the university wants their students to have an ACA compliant plan then that is what he would have to purchase. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact our office.

Q:What is a compliance form? Does that mean filling the forms required by the college? All I need is a copy of my insurance card and the policy number with all details about the policy. That is all. So is all this provided after a short while from making the payment?

A:
Yes, we are referring to a compliance form. Since you do not require a form, your email confirmation you receive after the purchase will be sufficient. This email will contain access to the policy documentation including the ID cards.

Q:How much time would it take me to get a copy of the insurance card along with a policy number after making the required payment for the Smart plan(StudentSecure Insurance)? This is because my college requires these details by the 1st of July to process my health insurance waiver. I am worried whether all this would be able to be done in time. I am an international student attending a US institution in Wisconsin this fall under the F1 Visa.

A:
The Student Secure Smart plan is an instant purchase. Shortly after purchase, you will receive the email confirmation with access to download your policy documentation. If we need to complete a compliance for, this generally takes 3 to 5 business days. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:I am an incoming international student at University of Chicago. I am currently on F1 visa. I am seeing if I can purchase insurance from insubuy that qualifies my school's insurance requirement.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. Unfortunately, there are no plans to meet your University's requirements as you require a plan which is Affordable Care Act compliant. We recommend purchasing through your University directly. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:I am planning to buy a travel insurance for my sister and her daughter. I picked Atlas America Non-U.S. citizens traveling to the U.S. Coverage period is 06/26/2018-07/31/2018. My sister is 36 years old and her daughter is 9 now. Her birthday is 07/12/2018, and she will turn 10. Under that plan kids under 10 is covered free. After 07/12/2018 she will be 10 and she is not going to be covered? Or it does not matter the age for consideration is taking before the coverage stars? Or how it works? Please reply today and I can buy a plan. Otherwise I will go with different company. Thank you in advance.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. The plan will still continue to cover the child under the policy. If you needed to extend the plan beyond the 7/31/2018 expiration date you would then start paying a premium for the child. If you need any additional clarification please contact our office.
