Q:A Tampa couple bought Travelex Insurance for a Caribbean Boat cruise from departing from Fort Lauderdale. We got to the airport and entered customs and immigration. I breezed through no problem. The other person was pulled aside and had carryon searched this took some time andby this time he had to go back to the end of the long line. We missed the plane. No other flights available. Rented a vehicle at the airport and drove to Fort Lauderdale. My suitcase went to the airport and needed to get it. The airport and cruise terminal were close together. We missed the ship by minutes. We called the ship No Luck. Royal Caribbean said call Emergency Tactical Team no luck the first port Haiti does not have a Immigration station there to board ship. The next port was 2 days at sea. I decided not to fly to port. The expense of flight etc. and cruise line was not helpful. We were refused by Travel insurance. I can see why Warren Buffet his company is successful. HahaIs there any recourse?
