Q:Hi there, I'm planning to Thailand from UK in January 2021. I need a negative COVID 19 test result before flying to Thailand and quarantine in Thailand for 14 days. If during quarantine I have a COVID 19, does insurance cover?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. The plans available on the market are designed to cover the new injuries and illnesses that manifest in the body after the effective date and will exclude the coverage for pre-existing conditions, preventative and routine care. Should COVID-19 manifest in the body after the effective date of a plan that includes its coverage as any other eligible expense, it would be treated as any other new illness. You may view and quote the plans that include COVID-19 coverage here. Should you have additional questions please let us know.
