Q:Im Good morning, I did for me and my family a quote from your website for an International Major Medical Insurance. We'll move to the USA on the 12th of June, because we won the Green card lottery, and we are looking for a medical insurance for the initial period. Following your website, we think this insurance could be fine. Following the steps to proceed to the application your website asks me the address. Now, the point is that for the initial two months we will stay in a temporal apartment AirBnB, can we use this address? And do you think that this insurance could be fine for us? Theoretically, our Green card will arrive within 6 months after our entry in the US on the 12th of June. Thank you very much in advance, Best regards,

A:
We would be glad to advise. The International Major Medical insurance is for new immigrants and found in our New Immigrant section. Any of the plans in the section would be fine. These plans can be carried, until you become eligible for domestic insurance. Once you receive the green cards and/ or are eligible for domestic insurance, you would need to enroll into the domestic insurance, as you would no longer be eligible for these plans. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:I would like to ask about the "coverage area" of visitor medical insurance for visitors to the USA. Does the option "International including the USA" includes coverage during transit in another country?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. When you choose International Including USA then the plans that come up will cover everywhere in the world outside of their home country.

Q:Hi, We are Canadians living in Mexico. We're travelling into the US on May 29 to take a flight to Canada, and need to be covered in the US and Canada for medical. We don't have Canadian medical anymore, as we've lived out of the country for too long. The dates we need coverage are: May 29 and June 5, USA May 30 through June 4, Canada. Our ages are 64 and I am 61. When I looked at theVisitorSecure plan, it says, "VisitorSecure plan is USA visitors insurance for short term tourists and visitors to USA." But we will mostly be in Canada. Can you help us?

A:
The Visitor Secure plan is a fixed coverage plan. It pays fixed amounts according to a schedule of benefits so if anything happens the majority of the cost will come from your pocket. The plan will cover anywhere outside of your home country so you will have coverage in or out of the US. It's primarily used for visitors to the US.

Q:I'm going to move to the USA for up to six months in that time l plan to have a child via surrogacy at which point l plan to return to the UK. I would like to be covered by health/Medial insurance for myself while l am there and for the child between the time of it birth and the time taken to return to the UK. Before the child is born and up to and including the birth of the child health cost will be covered by the host surrogates health insurance. Are you able to cover me ?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. You may purchase a plan for yourself which will provide coverage while you are visiting the U.S. Unfortunately, there will not be any plan options available to cover the newborn because they will be a US ciizen. We would be more than happy to recommend a plan for you, but first we will need to know more information.

Q:Hello, please I want to find out if it is possible to buy insurance for my stay in the US. I will be coming to Boston, MA. I want to know if the insurance coverage can cover for giving birth in the US. What the process of application and how do I go about it.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. Unfortunately, there are no plans available which will provide coverage for labor and delivery for a visitor to the USA. There are plans such as the Atlas America which will provide coverage for complications of pregnancy which occur during the first 26 weeks of pregnancy. You may use the link below to view the plan details. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
