Q:Glad to connect with you. My name is Sixue Zhao who holds a F2 visa as a dependent in Arizona State University. I am now looking for a medical insurance and get your information from ASU's International Student & Scholar Center. They tells me you could help me with this issue. Could you give me a medical insurance plan for F2 visa including the price and coverage? I inquire the ASU website and ISSC, there has some guiding principle listed as below: - Unlimited annual and lifetime maximum benefit - Medical benefits of at least $100,000 per person, per accident or illness - Covers pre-existing with no waiting period - Covers preventative and medical, both inpatient and outpatient - Covers mental health, both inpatient and outpatient. Same benefit as medical - Has medical evacuation ($50,000 USD) and repatriation ($25,000 USD) - Policy plan must be a US plan, is ACA complaint, reviewed by AZDOI - A deductible not to exceed $500 per accident or illness Till now, I need a insurance for one year. Could you give me more information? Thank you.

A:
We don't provide any ACA compliant insurance.

Q:My visit(J1, visiting scholar) to Cornell University will start at the end of this month and I find interest in health insurance plans designed for J1 visa student. I would like to ask that is HPV VACCINATION covered? If yes, could I get vaccinated in Health Care Center from my school? Or could you please recommend a suitable plan for me?

A:
Unfortunately, there are no plans available, which will provide coverage for the HPV vaccination. If you can provide your University requirements, we can recommend a plan, which will meet the school requirements without the immunization coverage.

Q:I'm a researcher from Hungary. I will spend 10 months at the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign (Illinois) as a fellow researcher with J-1 visa. My scholarship is from the 7th of September until the end of June. My 8 month old daughter with J-2 visa and my wife (27), who is an American citizen will come with me. My question is, what kind of insurance can you recommend me and my family according to these circumstances (according to the J-1 and J-2 visa requirements, e.g. min $100,000 coverage for medical benefits)? How much would it cost approximately?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. You may view and select one of the J Visa Insurance options available. You may purchase ExchangeGuard, as it is one of the more popular options. You are able to purchase these plans for you and your daughter, but since your wife is a U.S. citizen she is not eligible.

Q:I am an international student starting sometime soon a research year and want to request a quote for the cheapest year long health insurance coverage tailored specific to certain conditions that are required by my school. You can find the conditions attached to this email.

A:
According to the requirements the plan has to cover pre-existing conditions with no exclusions. All of the available plans will have at least a 6 to 12 month waiting period so they don't meet the requirements.

Q:I am planning to buy insurance coverage for my dad. He has dilated cardiomyopathy(kind of heart disease) along with high blood pressure and is currently on medication and is leading a healthy life.. If any complications arise during the stay in USA related to this disease, will it be covered? I am planning for atlas america or patriot america plus plans.

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. In general, insurance will pay for any new sickness, injuries or accidents that may occur after the effective date of the policy. It will not pay for any routine maintenance for pre-existing or preventive care. However, both Atlas America and Patriot America plus plan provides coverage for an acute onset of pre-existing conditions. Nobody can confirm in advance his conditions will be covered or not. It will be determined by the claim dept. based on the attending physician notes and as per the policy certificate whether it fall into an acute onset of pre-existing conditions or not. Please look at the comparison between Atlas America and Patriot America Plus here. But before we suggest any plan would like to know his age. Please review the above information and feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
