Q:I'm wondering if you can accommodate our situations. We are US citizens, living in China. I will be traveling with two children (ages 10 and 8), to the US from December 26th- January 28th. For three weeks we will stay in a condo. The rest of the time we will stay with family. We will rent a car. I would like to know what is covered regarding flights, accommodations, and rental cars. (canceling or modifying reservations). We have health insurance, so that isn't our primary focus.
Q:I moved to Orlando in August so I can get my degree from Valencia College. I had to take the mandatory insurance through the school. My wife and daughter moved here 2 weeks ago and in the process of trying to insure them, I discovered I might not be covered because of the definition of "home country" by insurance companies. We are all Canadian citizens and are not Permanent residents of the United States as we do not have a green card. However, we do not have a home in Canada. We live in Florida full time while I study to get my degree, get mail only in Florida and have a Florida Drivers License. We only travel back to Canada a few weeks a year to visit family. The U.S. considers us non-resident aliens as we have F1 and F2 visas. Are there any companies that will insure us? Is our home country considered Canada or the U.S.?
