They would be eligible to purchase any of the plans from the Visitors to the USA section of our website and the plans will cover them everywhere outside of their home country. Some of our recommended plans for them include Atlas America and Patriot America Plus. Enter appropriate criteria. You will find many plans and you can also compare them side by side.

Q:I need to take insurance for my parents who will be visiting me in US for 30 days. My father is 73, mother is 69 and sister is 49. They would be arriving in Washington State on 3/20/2018 and traveling to Michigan the 29th of March to the 2nd of April. Thereafter, they will return to Washington and return back to India on 17th of April. My father has an enlarged prostrate (not cancerous or anything, just enlarged for which he takes medicines). My mother had breast cancer in 2002, had a double mastectomy and has yearly checkups. She is currently healthy. My sister has had her uterus removed due to cancer in 2014. I would require insurance for all the three members. I would like something which I could ACTUALLY CLAIM if they had to visit the doctor or an emergency. I have seen some insurance which are very pocket friendly, but they do not really reimburse when actually a claim is done. I am looking for least hassle providers who would not provide excuses when a claim is made regards.

A:
All of the plans will pay for a covered illness or injury. Plans will cover any new illness or injury and some plans include the acute onset benefit. There is no plan available on the market for visitors that will cover pre-existing conditions, preventative care, or routine maintenance. Since plans for visitors have exclusions then they do have a claims process to determine if a claim is for a covered illness or injury. We have emailed three separate quotes for the available plans. Please see the links for additional information about the plans below. If you have additional questions or need assistance please feel free to contact our office. Can you give me various choices on F1 and F2 Visa? For my son who is 4 now, I would like to see if there is any insurance plan which cover ABA training/speech therapist for ASD. Awaiting for your update. Thanks.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. Does your university have requirements that need to be met? If not, then any of the plans in the F1/F2 section will work /international-student-insurance/ It will depend on the plan you choose to determine what coverage is offered. There are some plans that will cover pre-existing conditions after a 6 or 12 month waiting period. If your university has requirements then please sent the requirements for us to review and recommend a plan based on them.

Q:Hi, I am an F1 student who lives in USA am I eligible for this insurance?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. As an F1 student you are eligible to purchase an insurance plan from the Student Insurance section of Insubuy.com. We would be more than happy to send you a quote, and recommend a plan but first we will need to know more information. Can you please confirm if the University you are attending has any requirements for the insurance such as the policy maximum, or deductible? Can you also provide your age, the state in which you will be residing, and your arrival date in the U.S.? You may also obtain a plan recommendation over the phone by contacting our office at (866) INSUBUY. If you have any additional questions please let us know.
