Q:Do you have some plans for pre existing condition . If yes then how much is the max coverage and deductible

A:
There are plans available which will provide coverage for an acute onset of pre-existing condition. This defined as a sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence of pre-existing condition which occurs spontaneously without any advance warning and treatment must be received within 24 hours of the initial symptoms. The final determination is made by the claims department using the attending physician statement and medical records. If the situation meets the acute onset definition the plan will provide coverage up to the limit specified in the policy. Please use the link provided below to view an FAQ regarding this benefit.

Q:I am planning to travel to the US for a couple of months and was considering purchasing a visitor medical insurance plan. I have looked into the following package, which is the Patriot Platinum America Plan for 61 days (Policy Maximum $5,000,000.00 and Deductible $250) for $208.53. I am 29 years old, have no pre - existing health conditions and a citizen from The Netherlands, however I am currently stationed in Iraq. I am kind of concerned about the above mentioned Plan, whether it would cover medical expenses and charges resulting from the current outbreak of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus). I want to be sure that if after the plan/policy goes into effect I contract the virus/disease, any medical expenses/charges or possible vaccinations linked to the infection are covered by the chosen plan. I have spoken to an Insubuy representative on WhatsApp but I was not satisfied with the answers I received, therefore this email. I hope I can receive some concrete answers regarding my concerns before I purchase the above mentioned plan.

A:
Hello, There is a specific exclusions for any pandemics on the Patriot Platinum America so there would be no coverages for COVID-19 on this plan. Most plans are unfortunately excluding the COVID-19 for coverage within plans.

Q:I would like to ask what does it mean per person. For example if we chose $100 co-payment Will everyone pay $100 for every visit or only once or not for everyone only $100 for Total?

A:
Per Person means that each individual on the insurance will need to pay that deductible. You are not selecting a co-pay amount.
