Q:Hello, I am a US citizen that's been living abroad in the UK for 4 years. I will be visiting the US on holiday for three weeks and am wondering which insurance plans would cover me. Thanks

A:
We would be glad to assist. I am attaching the link for our Visitors to the U.S. plans below. When filling in your specific information into the quote screen, it will ask for your country of citizenship, where you will enter United States. Once you click submit to get quotes, it will only pull up plans available to a U.S. citizen coming to the U.S. to visit. /visitors-insurance/ If you have any questions, or need any additional assistance, please let us know

Q:Can a non-US citizen parent add a US citizen dependent child to her policy? I saw no place to check that the child has a different citizenship. The parent and child live in South Korea and would only be visiting the US for a month.

A:
We would be glad to assist. There are only certain plans that will cover U.S. citizens that live abroad and are coming into the U.S. to visit. These plans will not allow for coverage for people with different citizenships on the same policy. Therefore, you would purchase a plan for the child that will cover someone with U.S. citizenship, and then purchase a separate visitor plan for the parent. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Q:I'm buying travel insurance for my parents, who are going to visit me in Maryland USA. It's puzzling to see Geographic Restrictions for Safe Travels USA comprehensive has United States listed under Additional Restrictions Excluded Destination Will the insurance cover visitors to the US or not?

A:
Hello, Please be advised that this plan will cover visitors, or B1/B2 visa holders, while visiting the U.S in all 50 states. The additional restrictions area that lists the United States, is pertaining to Arctic territories of the U.S. which is only in portions of Alaska state where most people don't even go. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Q:I skimmed through the attachment sent, and I noticed on the bottom a notation that said "Not available in HI..." which is where I live. Please advise.

A:
Unfortunatey, in this case we don't have any plans available. The one other carrier we have is a surplus lines so you would have to be denied by traditional carries before they would offer a quote. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact our office.
