Q:How do I get dental insurance?

A:
Many comprehensive coverage plans will provide coverage for treatment of an acute, unexpected dental pain. With these plans the benefit limits are usually not very high as these plans are primarily designed to cover you medically while visiting the U.S. You may consider purchasing the Careington Dental/Vision discount plan, as this would provide a discount on dental and vision services. There are plans she will be eligible for in the New Immigrant section as long as she is not eligible for Medicare or a long term domestic plan. Q:I have a question about the acute onset of a pre-existing conditions. If we go to the doctor for pain chest/head. They figure out it is due to high or low blood pressure will this be covered through the insurance.

A:
An acute onset of pre-existing condition is determined by the claims department. They will make their decision based on the doctor's notes and medical records which are generated at the time of incident. High Blood Pressure, is generally considered a chronic condition. Chronic and congenital conditions are excluded under the acute onset of pre-existing condition coverage benefit. In the below FAQ, we list a few examples of situations which may fall under the acute onset of pre-existing conditions definition. Acute Onset of a pre-existing condition
