Q:I have recently purchased Atlas International Insurance, and am wondering if I went to a clinic would something like this be covered?

A:
The plan will cover the new accidents and new illness that happen after the effective date of the policy. So as long as the visit to the clinic is for a new accident or new illness that happened after the effective date that could be covered under the policy.

Q:I am an international student on my OPT on an F1 visa in USA. I am currently residing in California and doing my internship. 1) Since the past year, I had a domestic health insurance (UHC) through my university. Am I eligible to apply for the Atlas Exchange? 2) While trying to buy the Atlas Exchange insurance I got a notification that it isn't licensed in the state of California. Is the insurer a part of the surplus line insurers list? An early response would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
