Q:Is Flushot covered in this insurance?

A:
Visitor insurance plans are going to exclude coverage for pre-existing conditions, preventative and routine care. You will have to pay for the flu shot out of pocket. Should you have additional questions you may also call our office at (866) 467-8289.

Q:I am thinking of purchasing one of your Covid policies. If I get covid while visiting Florida and end up in hospital, can I extend the policy to cover the whole time I'd need treatment? I'm looking at the Patriot Plus or Diplomat plans.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. Both the Patriot America Plus and Diplomat America plans include coverage for COVID-19 the same as any other new illness, should it manifest in the body after the effective date of the policy. Patriot America Plus is an extendable plan, but Diplomat America is not so you would want to keep that mind. All the plans on the market are designed to cover the new illnesses and injuries that manifest after the effective date of the plan. They will exclude coverage for pre-existing conditions, preventative and routine care. Should you have additional questions please let us know. You may also call our office at (866) 467-8289.

Q:Hello Aetna Health team. We are a married couple . I have an L1 visa and my wife has an L2 visa. I work for an American company in Israel, due to my position I also work in the USA. Because my wife is currently 12 weeks pregnant (she is 36 years old) and maybe I will have to work in the US for the next few months. I wanted to know about the possibility of giving birth in a US hospital. The question is: what health insurance does she need and where can I turn for it? What documents does she need to have? What is the average cost of childbirth. I would be happy for any information that is help for us. Thank you Michael

A:
Short term insurance plans will not cover maternity related costs. You would need to consider traditional domestic insurance plan for maternity related coverage for your spouse.

Q:I'm pursuing my Master of Science in Analytics at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. I'm on a F1-visa and I'm planning to waive the NU-SHIP(health insurance plan at NU). I will be graduating in December 2020 and will be applying for an OPT. I'm interested in the StudentSecure Elite plan and want to understand if the plan could be used to waive off the NU-SHIP.

A:
There is not a plan that we could offer you to meet these requirements. You would need to purchase coverage from your university as you are required to have a plan that is ACA complaint.
