Q:I hope this email finds you well. I am 25 years old from America and am still on my parents Health Insurance. I will be turning 26 at the end of the year, which means I will be needing to find a new Health Insurance! I am trying to apply for a VISA so I can attend cooking school in South Africa for 2018, but before I can apply I need to sort out Health Insurance in order to be able to live there. I am also a Type One Diabetic, preexisting conditions are quite the pain. I was hoping I could speak to you and get some quotes and maybe get a little more information, anything would be helpful!

A:
There are many plans that will cover you outside of the United States however plans will not cover the pre-existing conditions. The plans are designed to cover the new accidents and new illness that happen after the effective date of the policy. Unfortunately, if you are in need of routine medical supplies or visits as it relates to your pre-existing condition there would not be plan that we could offer to you. At most plans will cover a Sudden and Unexpected Recurrence of a Pre-existing Condition. Please use the link for more information about this coverage. If you are interested in a plan that will offer this benefit please feel free to inform us and we can recommend a plan that will offer this.

Q:Hello. I want to visit USA soon and I want to know if I visit USA and i give birth there Is the insurance will cover the hospital bill.?

A:
Unfortunately, there is not plan on the market that will cover the cost of maternity or birth for a visitor into the United States. If you plan to deliver in the United States you will have to pay for this out of pocket. Please read the Pregnancy / Maternity FAQ for more information.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. The Atlas series plans are not available for purchase if the home country or country of citizenship is listed as Iran. So unfortunately you are not eligible to purchase this plan. At this time there will not be a plan that we can offer you for coverage it is recommended that you enroll into a domestic insurance from your spouse sponsoring organization if possible.
