A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. Multi-Trip Travel Insurance is designed for someone that is traveling frequently outside of their home country. In order to purchase this insurance, you must maintain insurance in your home country. You may insure trip lengths of either 30 or 45 days in most policies. If your trip exceeds 30 or 45 days, then you will not have coverage for the remaining days on that trip. Single Trip Travel Insurance can be purchased for short or long trips. You may purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance to insure your non-refundable trip cost in the event you are unable to travel due to a covered reason listed in the policy. Travel Medical Insurance will cover you medically while traveling abroad, but it will not include trip cancellation coverage. Both types of Travel Insurance will cover you medically while traveling abroad. With Travel Medical Insurance you can choose between several different policy maximum limits whereas the Trip Cancellation Insurance has a specified amount in the policy that cannot be increased or decreased. If you are interested in Trip Cancellation Insurance, it's best to purchase as soon as possible as this insurance is designed to cover your trip cost. So the longer you wait, the greater risk something could happen that would result in cancellation. Travel Medical Insurance can be purchase at anytime, and can start as early as the next day.

Q:Will covid pcr test be included for J visa insurance?

A:
The plans that include coverage for COVID-19, the same as any other new illness, may allow for the coverage if it were medically necessary. This would mean under a physician recommendation, due to signs or symptoms for diagnostic purposes. Elective testing, or testing or travel purposes, would be excluded from coverage as they are known expenses due to travel. For those expense, you will pay out of pocket.
