Q:My Filipino fiancee will soon be in possession of her K1 visa, & I will fly her to Louisiana in the U.S. Shortly after her arrival to the U.S., we will marry & I will add her to my medical insurance through my employer. My question to you is: Is it currently mandatory that my fiancee have traveler's medical insurance in order to board her flight in Manila, Philippines, & to enter the U.S., or can she board her flight & enter the U.S. without me purchasing traveler's medical insurance for her???
