Q:Dears, I am contacting you to have more details about the insurance options you offer. Myself and My wife are planning to visit the USA ( Boston City) to spend a one to two months vacation. My wife is 22 weeks pregnant and I am afraid anything might happen that requires an emergency admission to hospital for any related complications due to pregnancy e.g. pain , respiratory related illness , premature delivery or/and delivering a baby in US. Please note that i am not able to get a contact number for your insurance company so I appreciate if you provide a valid contact number.

A:
Arriving on a B2 tourist visa we would recommend the Atlas America plan this plan will cover the new accidents and new illness that happen after the effective date of the policy. The plans do not cover and pre-existing conditions or preventative care or any routine or delivery related expense. However, this plan will cover for the complications of pregnancy up to 26 weeks. But will not cover any thing as it relates to the birth or maternity cost of the pregnancy in any instance. Please use the link to review the recommend plan for yourself and your wife. You can use the link to review the plan and to generate a quote for coverage. If you need any further assistance please feel free to contact our office.

Q:Do you have any insurance policies that are not from HCC medical? I ask because I had a terrible experience with these people in the past and ended up paying 14,000$ in bills just because they claim it was a pre-existing condition. anyways, please also I wanted to know if there's a policy that covers common dental expenses?

A:
We have many different companies that we work along with for purposes of providing medical insurance to our customers. If you would provide your visa status, age, dates of coverage needed, and the state in which you will require coverage we can help you find additional plan options outside of HCC Medical Insurance services. There unfortunately, not any plan that will include dental coverage as a benefit of the plan as these are strictly medical insurance. There is a dental discount plan available to provide discounts on in network provider general fees as a member. Please use the link for more information about the Careington Dental/ Vision discount plan.

There will be several plans available to your mother during her visit in the United States. Plans are designed to cover the new accidents and new illness that occur after the effective date of the policy. Plans do not cover pre-existing conditions or maintenance visits as it relates to pre-existing conditions, preventative care or medications as it relates to pre-existing conditions. Some plan will offer coverage for an Acute Onset of a Pre-existing Condition. Please see the link for a detailed description of and acute onset of a pre-existing condition. The determination of an acute onset of a pre-existing condition will be determined at the time of the claim according to the certificate wording and the attending physician notes.
