Q:Hello. We purchased a trip through Priceline (air, hotel, rental car) and also included travel insurance. The outgoing flight was cancelled by the airline due to weather the day before it was scheduled to depart. The airline refunded us their part and Priceline refunded the hotel and rental car. I am wondering if the premium paid for the trip insurance is refundable. I can see the reasoning either way: 1 - Not refundable because policy was in effect prior to trip and could have been acted on.2 - Refundable because it is akin to getting insurance for a product that was purchased but never delivered.How do you interpret this situation?
