Q:My wife arrived July 27 after receiving a Green Card. I want to enroll her in my insurance program but am being told we will have to wait for the next open enrollment period and that her status as a married recent green card holder does not constitute a QLE. In my opinion and for all practical purposes our situation is the same as getting married.
Q:I will be traveling to Madeira in late August, 2021. I will return to the USA via a flight from Lisbon, Portugal. I must have a negative covid test to begin the trip and another negative test before I am permitted to board the flight to return to the USA. I am fully vaccinated for covid. I am looking for a travel insurance plan that will cover my hotel and food expenses if I test positive prior to leaving Portugal and thus must quarantine in a hotel in Portugal.
Q:If a US visitor to Costa Rica tests positive on a COVID test a maximum of 3 days prior to planned return to the US, are costs of lodging during quarantine and return airfare covered?
Q:I see that quarantine is covered under trip delay coverage. I wonder if the coverage extends past the specified end travel date? If the quarantine causes you to miss the return flight home will coverage pay for the accommodations after the return date on the policy?

Q:If i get test positive for covid while i'm travelling, will my travel medical insurance cover my expenses - medical, quarantine lodging and food, etc? The plan(s) i'm interested in have a checkmark for COVID (they cover covid but they're not specific in what exactly is covered)
