Q:Are there any insurance plans that cover Knee replacement for 66 year aged person who is travelling from India on Tourist visa?

A:
Insurance for an international visitor covers whatever treatment medically necessary as long as it's not pre-existing, preventive or elective treatment. So there is no insurance which covers Knee replacement surgery. Because that surgery is very expensive in US and short term insurance doesn't collect that much premium compare to our long term policy. So you have to pay all the expense from your pocket.
