Q:Insurance for J2 visa holders. We will need from 9/14/2017 to 5/15/2018. I am 34, my kids: 12, 9, 5 yo. Could you please give me the exact price? The quotes that you gave me before around $1,200-2,000, but mine is around $175 for 244 days. Why the results are different? How come it is happened?

A:
You are selecting that you do not need medical coverage on the online application. The drop down menu stating Medical Needed, needs to read YES as you do need medical coverage. The plan that is populating is for medical evacuation and repatriation only with no medical coverage. Once you make the aforementioned corrections you will get more results. You can also refer to the quote that was sent to you. If you need any additional information please feel free to contact our office.

Q:Hello, I am trying to purchase short term travel health cover for myself, a U.S. Citizen temporarily staying in Australia, for my trip back to the USA and to Canada. I'm looking at the plan but I have some concerns over wording. I'm hoping you can clarify in writing the terms Residence Country home country and true, fixed and permanent residence. Can you please send me the legal definitions for each of the three terms as you use them, specifically how they would be defined and used in the event that claims need to be made ? I am not a Permanent Resident of Australia; I only have a temporary right to live and work in Australia. I need to ensure I'm purchasing health cover that applies to myself while I am in Canada and the U.S., my country of citizenship and permanent residence. In case the information on your end is needed, I am 26 and will be traveling from 13th of September through the 18th of October (USA and Canada).

A:
You can see the certificate wording of the application plans in our visitors insurance section. This document will have any and all information about the Liaison International plan as it will be the final document in the event of a claim being filed. It will also include the legal definitions specific to the plan. Plans such as Patriot America Plus and Diplomat America are available for a U.S. citizen coming to the United States for a visit that reside outside of the United States.
