Q:What does it mean when it says "Physician Visit - Up to $60 per visit"? I have to pay up to $60 or the plan will pay up to $60?

A:
If you are referring to one of our fixed plans, Up to $60.00 per visit, means that the plan will pay up to $60.00 per visit (assuming you choose a $0 deductible), and then you would be responsible for the balance due out of pocket. Our Fixed plans are our limited benefit plans. They cost less, but provide lower benefit amounts. If you are interested in higher level benefits for covered expenses, we would recommend the comprehensive plans. Those plans will pay a percentage of the bills for covered expenses, some up to 100% in network after the deductible is met. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:We are contemplating purchasing Atlas America for Max $100,000 and deductible $2,500. We have following questions: 1. Please confirm that each of us will be covered for $ 100,000. 1.1. Will deductible be only once or will it be once per person ( that is, for each of us)? 2. My wife is visiting Schengen from July 22nd till July 28th; is there any possibility that Atlas America will insure her? 3. We will return from Los Angeles to Delhi, India (our home country) on 17th Sept. We have to change the flight at Frankfurt (Germany). Will Atlas America insure us during this transit at Frankfurt? 4. Does Atlas America cover us whilst we are in the flight?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. The Atlas America plan will cover you anywhere outside of your home country so coverage would extend through your entire trip in all locations that you visit or are in transit through provide your policy is in force. The deductible will be per insured person. So you would all have deductibles of $2,5000 to meet. The policy maximums are also individual so you would each have policy maximums of $100,000. For you wife's trip I would recommended purchasing a separate plan for the duration she will be in the Schengen area. We would recommend the Atlas International plan for you to review. If you need any additional clarification please contact our office.

Q:I will be staying in the US for 11 months, and I would like to know the cost of a dental insurance plan for that period.

A:
We would be glad to advise. We do not offer dental insurance. We do however, have the Careington Dental and Vision discount plan. I have attached the plan link below for you to review the plan and information about the benefits it offers. Careington Discount Plan There is a $20.00 one-time non-refundable set up fee, and the plan is $11.95 a month. Therefore, the first month would be $39.95, and then $11.95 each month after. If you have additional questions, please let us know.
