Q:I have insurance to cover my current visit to the USA. I plan to fly home to the UK on 19 September; insurance expires 12:01 on 20 September. If i were to test positive for COVID 19 at my pre-departure test (probably on 17 or 18 September, and was therefore unable to board a flight, and had to remain in the USA for a further 10-14 days, would my existing cover suffice, or should I extend to cover that eventuality?

Q:My brother age 77 and I age 72 Make a yearly trip to Myrtle Beach for a week in October to play golf with a group of Army friends (about 50). We send in an initial deposit of 100 each to the group leader. Last year our trip was cancelled due to Covid. We ok'ed the group leader to keep the deposit and use it for this year Oct 21. He arranged things and gave the deposit to the new site early this year. The remaining payment (1800 or 900 each) was paid today (Aug 30, 2021) with and is non refundable by Sept 10th. I estimate our total non refundable costs to be at least 3800 - 2000 golf and condo, 1200 airline, 100 arrival hotel, 500 rental car.I don't understand the "initial" payment in our case and I need a recommendation for our coverage.
