Q:You mean that you do not have a plan I can buy for me and my daughter as my dependent? How about your "Patriot America Plus" plan, Does it suitable for us?

A:
You can purchase that plan but she is not eligible for that plan. Patriot America Plus is only available to U.S. citizens that are visiting for a short period she is not considered to be visiting so this would not be an appropriate plan for her. She has already been here for 4 months and will remain here for at least another year according to the emails. This is not considered a visit.

Q:I would like to buy a medical insurance for me and my daughter. I'm F2( F1 spouse) visa, My daughter was born in U.S, she has U.S passport. her residence country is China and me too. we have arrived US and lived at Oxford MS now. Arriving date is Sept.16.2018. The last four month we bought other company's medical insurance. I would to see if you can give me a quota, then I can make a compare.

A:
With your daughter being a U.S. citizen she is not eligible for a visitor insurance plan. You as an F2 visa holder can have a plan called ExchangeGuard that will cover any new accident and new illness that happens after the effective date of the policy. You can use the link to generate a quote for coverage and to review the plan details. For your daughter as a U.S. citizen she can only have a short term domestic insurance such as National General Short Term Domestic insurance, or enroll into your wife's insurance through her university since as a U.S. citizen she is to have a domestic insurance. This plan will also cover the new accidents and new illnesses that happen after the effective date of the policy. There is not any coverage for preventative care, well baby checkups, pre-existing conditions on the plan.

Q:Me and my sister are planning to go to USA and study English there in the summer and we would like to know how to do the health insurance for an international student and how much will it cost us for one year . Please provide us with all the information to get it .

A:
Please look at the plans in our F1/F2 International Student Insurance. However, if your school has additional requirements, you can email those to us to review. Once we review them, we can then send only the F1 plans that meet those specific requirements.

Q:I am thinking to buy Atlas America health insurance to cover my stay in the USA $0 deductible for a month and a half with $100,000 policy maximum. My question is can I use Lab (blood test) just go to lab place, that is provided on your list and tell them what I need, or I need dr. referral, or only Lab test that are covered are in the hospital in emergency situations?

A:
Plans will cover new accidents and new illnesses that happen after the effective date of the policy. Plans do not cover pre-existing conditions, preventative care, routine doctor's visits. If the lab work is requested by a physician related to a new accident or illnesses that is what the plan is designed for. You cannot electively go and have lab work done. You can view the available plans in the Visitors to the USA section of the website.
