Q:I had google around and found your web site that provides travel insurance and cover paragliding coverage too. I am current working and staying in Dubai, UAE and plan a vacation to Bali, Indonesia for 7 days. For the days I am in Bali, I will be affiliated with one of the paragliding school and will fly with them as I am a Club Pilot. What is was wondering, will your insurance cover for an Indian expat staying in UAE or does it only cover insurance for selected country of residents. I hold an Indian passport and have been residing Dubai for past 5 years.

A:
Sorry for the delay. We do have a plan that will cover paragliding but we had to contact the underwriting department to make sure they would still cover you as a club pilot. You can purchase Patriot International you will need to make sure to add the adventure sport rider to get the coverage for Paragliding. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact our office.

Q:My parents are visiting the US. I am thinking to buy medical insurance for them. Wonder if the insurance will become valid right after I buy it. also, wonder if there is any agent could help me figure out the best plan for us and it's better he/she speaks Chinese. Thank you!

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. You can run a quote from our website /visitors-insurance/ for visitors to the US by entering in the required information and clicking on get quotes. If you want us to email you the quotes then we will need the same required information. Please provide the coverage dates, citizenship, ages, state they are visiting and their arrival date in the US. Most plans can be effective the next day. The plans will cover any new illness or injury that occurs after the effective date. There is no plan available on the market that will cover pre-existing conditions, preventative care, or routine maintenance. If you need additional assistance please feel free to call our office and request a Chinese speaking agent.

Q:Hello, I am a US citizen living outside of the US but am visiting for a month starting in August. I was told this insurance was good to buy as a US citizen who is temporarily visiting. However when I try to purchase it won't allow me to choose my home country as the USA. It isn't listed on the drop down menu. My current country is South Korea but I will be going to the USA and then traveling on wards afterwards. I won't technically have a home. Any idea what I should put for home country in this case?Am I able to purchase and how can I do this?

A:
Home Country does NOT mean native country, neither the country you are citizen of, nor from where you have passport, nor the country you were born, nor the country you grew up in . Home country is where you currently live. You have been living in Korea for the past two years. Therefore, that is your Residence Country or Home Country. You are visiting USA for a short duration and departing the US again after that. You can purchase Patriot America Plus You will enter Residence Country = South Korea, Destination Country = US, Citizenship Country = US
