Q:I would like to know whether my health insurance Atlas America will cover the cost of medicines purchased from pharmacy. If it is so, showing id card in the pharmacy will be ok for getting free pharmacy medicine coverage?
Q:My mother is an indian national and she has an active health insurance in India to cover her medical needs. She has been living with my brothers family in Singapore on a long term visa (dependent on my brothers work visa and renews every 1-2 years). Her stay in Singapore is undetermined and she will have to go back to India if my brother's job terminates in Singapore. I have been purchasing visitor secure for her mainly to cover any hospitalization needs for her in Singapore. I understand that its a fixed plan and hence it covers fixed expenses etc. I don't know how long she will stay. In such a case, can I purchase insurance for 3 months and keep extending or can I purchase a longer term like 6 months or a year and cancel if she ends up going back to India sooner? Please advise.
