Q:J1 Travel health insurance My boyfriend and I live in Austria and we will travel between 07/15/2015 and 01/15/2017 (to South East Asia for 45 days, then to the USA for 4 months, and then again to southeast Asia for a bit less than a month). I will apply for a USA J1 visa but my boyfriend will stay in the USA with a tourist visa only for 3 months. I would like to know if the health insurance below will cover our whole trip.
Q:J1 visitor insurance needed I have got the requirement from the international students office of my university and I want to make sure that the proposed quotes cover those requirements which are: For your coverage to meet the minimum levels required, you must provide proof that your insurance has: • $100,000 per accident & illness in medical coverage • Annual Deductible cannot exceed $500 • Coinsurance cannot exceed 25% • Medical evacuation coverage must be at least $50,000 • Repatriation coverage must be at least $25,000 • Plan includes a reasonable waiting period for pre-existing conditions • Carrier must be at least A- rated. Could you please confirm that requirements?
