Q:I am traveling to USA and plan on a Hunting trip. I always buy travel insurance through you. I am arriving on a B1/B2 Visit Visa. Travel between 28th November and 14th December. Arriving in New York on 29th November. I am planning Big Game (Deer) hunt in the state of Michigan in a private hunting preserve. Do you have any product which includes personal insurance and liability insurance during Hunting?

A:
There is a policy called Diplomat America that will cover you while Big Game hunting with the use of Fire Arms. You can use the link for more information about the plan and to generate a quote for coverage. When you generate a quote for coverage you will need to quote with the High option Hazardous activity rider. This plan will not include coverage for the Personal Liability only health insurance while Big Game Hunting. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact our office.

Q:My Grandfather had mild heart attack in 2016 Jan. Now he is doing great. When he will be in USA, if he gets any heart related problem, do you have any insurance which covers this?.

A:
Generally the plans are not designed to cover a pre-existing condition. As mentioned earlier the plan does provide a limited benefit in the event of an acute onset of pre-existing condition. If the insured were to have a heart attack and it fit this definition the plan would provide coverage up to $15,000. The Safe Travels USA Comprehensive plan provides one of the highest limits for the acute onset of pre-existing coverage for someone in their age group. You may use the link provided to view more detail on the Acute Onset of Pre-existing Condition coverage. If you have any additional questions please let us know. Q:I would like to inquire if you can enroll my kids on their own without a principal member like parent/guardian. My university expects me to enroll in an insurance provided by the school but my kids are free to enroll in other providers in the market. Is that a possibility?

A:
As long as your University approves a plan that does not meet the requirements provide for your children you are able to purchase for them independently with the children listed as the primary insured on the policies. Again, please be advised that this plan will not meet the requirements for your University.
