Q:Hi, I am an USA citizen living in India. I am travelling to USA for 3 weeks on a personal visit. I want to purchase a medical insurance for my self for that 3 weeks. I looked into INSUBUY policies and there was some wording around Home Country with respect to eligibility. Can you help with suitable medical insurance policies that I can purchase? Thanks

A:
You can purchase Diplomat America plan being US Citizen whose home country is India and visiting US for a short period of time. Both of these plans go as per your home country NOT by the Citizenship. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

Q:My name is Saba, I am an American citizen left the US since Oct.,6th, 2016. I have a medical condition that I have to do polypectomy and colonoscopy each year and if I did not do it, it's going to be very dangerous for my health and can develops into cancer. Please, I'm seeking for help and I need answers to my following questions: - Do you help providing travel health insurance even for just a limited time? - What plans do you have for lower cost? - Is there any restrictions regarding my eligibility to have a medical insurance just because I'm overseas? - Do you provide any assistance other than health insurance?

A:
We do offer insurance for the US Citizens who live abroad and come to the US for a short period of time. However, there is no short term plan for the US Citizen whose home country is outside the US and visiting the US for a short time, that will provide coverage for any pre-existing condition or preventative care. Insurance will pay for new injuries, new sickness after the effective date of the policy. Please see the link below for further clarification for eligibility of the insurance. Travel Insurance for US citizens visiting USA Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Q:I would like to get information/prices for temporary health care insurance for possibly one month up to a year for expatriates in Croatia. I am American and I have been living in Croatia for two months, and I need temporary health insurance until my new residence permit for Croatia is approved. What are the prices, what are the various options?

A:
There are two options that we can consider for your specific situation while you are living abroad. There are Expatriate Health Insurance plans that would be available and will cover more like a domestic insurance that you are used to in the United States. This plans are underwritten as they typically offer coverage for pre-existing conditions, preventative care among other benefits. You can review these options using the link. You can also look at International options, Travel Outside USA Insurance, that will cover only the new accidents and new illness that occur after the effective date of the policy. If you have any questions about either of the available plans please feel free to contact our office.
