Q:Coris Hertiage procrastinated review and then bailed saying it was a preexisting cond We purchased a policy from Coris Heritage for my mother so she could visit us in the U.S. Unfortunately she had to be hospitalized during her stay with us. We initially submitted the medical claim to April USA in Florida, but they told us after a month that they no longer handled India issued policies. We then contacted Coris Heritage to process the claim. They wanted to review the claim with their in-house doctor and subsequently informed us that the claim would not be paid due to pre-existing condition. My mother was diagnosed with an epilectic attack, which was definitely not a pre-existing condition. She traveled with medications for her pre-existing conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, but not epilepsy as it had not been a pre-existing condition. WE feel that Coris Heritage was looking for any reason to deny the claim and latched onto any one of the possible conditions mentioned in the discharge report as the possible cause of the epileptic attack.

A:
I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your claim. I recommend that you purchase the insurance from an US based company the next time. Hi Insubuy.. What is your policy fo sudden epileptic attack which is not pre existing?

Q:My fiancee and I are getting ready to travel to the US for a month after a year of traveling around Europe. We are 27 (female, USA) and 30 (male, UK). We will get married on July 14 and since we have birthdays in the middle of July also, we have a few questions regarding the form for health insurance during our stay in America. We don't have an actual place of residence, but will be moving to Cairo, Egypt to live and work in early August. What should be put as our country of residence on the form since we have been hopping around to different countries in Eastern Europe and don't have a home base. We are also concerned with the fact that we will both turn one year older during our trip to America and our marital status will change during this time. What are we supposed to put on the form? Please help us with this as soon as possible as our trip to America begins July 1 and ends August 2.

A:
Answer for your questions below: 1. You need to separate application for you and your fiancee because of different Citizenship. 2. You can enter your current address whichever address you are living now or your fiancee's UK address. 3. In the insurance application you have to enter your current age at the time of effective date of the policy and premium will not change in the middle of the policy. If you need to renew the policy then only premium will increase. You can purchase Safe Travel USA Cost saver. Please get separate quote for you and your fiancee.
