Q:I would like to purchase a health insurance policy for my 16 yr. old daughter who lives permenantly in Italy and will be coming to the US for the upcoming school year. On your web site it is stated that your policies "Atlas America" and "Atlas Essential" are available only for non US citizens. My daughter is a dual US-Italian citizen and will be living in the US only for a 9 month period. Is she eligible for one of these policies? Thanks for your assistance.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. Since your daughter is a US citizen she is not eligible for the Atlas plans. You would first need to confirm that she is not eligible for a domestic plan. Then we will need to know what state she will be going to school in before we can recommend a plan. You can also call our office to speak with a licensed insurance agent for more assistance.
