Q:inquiry about exchange visitor insurance I am going to be a visitor scholar in American University from Aug,1,2016 to Jul, 30,2017. (I am 45 years old) My two sons are going to be with me during that period.(both 15 years) The U.S. Department of State requires all J-1 visa holders to maintain health insurance for themselves and J-2 dependents. Would you please recommend one insurance plan for me so that we could meet the minimum requirements? The minimum requirements are attached. Thanks for your help.
