We do offer Multi- Trip Plans that can cover the insureds when traveling anywhere outside of their home country or residence country of Hungary. These plans offer coverage throughout the year, however you will have 2 options. You can choose trips of no more than 30 days at a time, or 45 days. If any of the trips would be going beyond those timeframe options, we would advise single trip purchases, each time traveling. If you are interested in the single trip plans, these would be our Visitors To The U.S. Plans and under the coverage area, you would choose, International including U.S

Q:I'm trying to find a policy that will cover redeposit fees for travel award tickets. I bought tickets for my parent who will be visiting the US from Jamaica for 12 days. The tickets were purchased mainly using my frequent flier miles. Is there a policy that you would recommend, please? Three award tickets bought one week ago, and travel is in six/seven weeks. The total cash output is about $250 USD. Receipts and frequent flier miles are all in my name, not my parent's.

Q:My father is planning to visit me in the US (he is French). He has an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD ) and an artificial heart valve. I would like to know if he could be eligible on the acute onset of pre-existing conditions in VisitorSecure. What are the documents needed? He is in France. Thank you

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. With the Visitors Secure plan the Acute Onset benefit is available for visitors under the age of 70. Keep in mind, that plan is a fixed coverage plan so even the Acute Onset benefit would be paid according to the schedule of benefits so the majority of the cost would come from your pocket if anything happens. No documents would be needed when you purchase. If anything happens the claims department would make their determination based on the medical records at the time. If something happens related to this condition it would have to meet the definition of the Acute Onset to have coverage. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact our office.
