Q:I have a question concerning exchange visitors' insurance plans. According to a short description, Atlas Exchange plan doesn't cover injuries incurred during hazardous sport activities, at the same time Atlas America plan covers such activities (according to the short description). But in a full description of Atlas America plan (https://www.insubuy.com/atlas/international-medical-insurance.pdf) it is stated that it covers sport activities in the same way as Atlas Exchange plan does (https://www.insubuy.com/atlas-exchange/student-medical-insurance.pdf) - screenshots are attached. Could you please clarify if Atlas Exchange plan actually covers injuries incurred during hazardous sport activities (soccer in particular) as it is important detail while choosing appropriate insurance plan.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. On both the Atlas Exchange and Atlas America plan soccer(football) is specifically excluded from both plans under the exclusions. This can be found in both policies certificate wordings. If you need any additional clarification please contact our office.

Q:Regarding Atlas Exchange, if I decide to purchase a month to month can I renew as much as I want or there's a max amount of renewals? Also if after started a month to month I decided it to do it a 3 month can I do that if I pay the $5 renewal fee?

A:
The Atlas Exchange plan is renewable up to 4 years. When renewing you may select the desired expiration date which may be a month or three months apart depending on the dates you select. If you have any additional questions please let us know.

Q:Regarding Atlas Exchange, the longer the period I choose to purchase the lower the insurance rate becomes? Also if I decide to pay for a year and then changed my mind is it refundable?

A:
The premium in any case is going to be based upon a daily rate. So purchasing for a longer duration is not going to provide a discount. At the end of the day whether you purchase month to month or 6 months at one time the cost will be the same with the exception of a $5.00 renewal fee. If you were to purchase for a longer duration and then cancel you would receive a prorated refund minus a $25.00 cancellation fee as long as no claims have been filed on the policy since the effective date of the policy. Q:Hello, I am interested in buying Insurance for my parents and have a question with the questions I am getting while purchasing it. When I am trying to buy the insurance, I am seeing a question for destination state. If say, I enter destination state as Kansas, does that mean that my parents cannot use this insurance in any other states in US when needed whenever they go to visit different places?

A:
The states that is requested in the quoting session will not stop the individual from utilizing the plan outside of that state. The plans will cover them anywhere outside of the country of citizenship or home country depending upon the plan purchased. They will however have coverage in all the U.S. states. If you need any additional clarification please contact our office.
