Q:I am an old customer of yours. I have bought insurance policies for my family in the past. I have had good experience with the Atlas America policy. I want to buy a comprehensive policy for my Father-In-Law (70yrs) and Mother-in-Law (68 yrs). Your online system doesn't let me price anything for anyone over 70. Can we do it via email? They are in the US since Feb 28th. Currently they are using ICICI lombard insurance which they bought from India. It is coming up for renewal on 26th April 2020. I want to explore your options rather than renew with them. What are the options available? Also, will the policies cover for any COVID related illness, god forbid.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. There are options available to those that are 70+ they just need to be quoted separately for coverage. As you are looking for coverage for COVID-19 I would recommend a plan called Safe Travels USA Comprehensive for both of the proposed insureds. - Safe Travels USA Comprehensive There is no specific exclusion for Coronavirus on the Safe Travels Series plans . It will be covered as any other sickness. It should not be related to any pre-existing or preventive care. Please read Coronavirus FAQ for Travel medical insurance here.
