Q:Comprehensive insurance Questions I am looking into Atlas America quotes for comprehensive coverage plans for my parents coming in soon. Was wondering if you help me with the following questions.. 1. Both my parents are aged between 65 and 70 with minor preexisting conditions.. Was wondering what will be covered and what will not be ? 2. Planning to take coverage for 3 months initially.. if they plan to stay back for more months later, was wondering if we can extend the insurance? And what's the minimum days required to extend the insurance? 3. Will they be getting their insurance cards, that they can use the way we use our medical cards here .. I mean just go to doctor.. show insurance card and pay the copay.. and rest is taken care of ? 4. Finally can you suggest the best plan for my parents?
Q:Atlas Premium - Policy Clarification We would like to clarify the coverage restrictions with respect to Atlas Premium Policy on your website (<a href='/atlas-premium-america/visitors-insurance/'>/atlas-premium-america/visitors-insurance/</a>). Regarding coverage for pre-existing conditions the website mentions the following - "Acute onset only. Medical to policy maximum and $25,000 medical evacuation for persons under age 70" Could you please clarify the following two questions: 1) For persons over 70, is acute onset of pre-existing conditions covered under the Atlas Premium policy? 2) If it is covered, are medical expenses from the acute onset covered up to the policy maximum ($100,000 in our case)? It wasn't clear from the language on the website.
