Q:I'm wanting to buy insurance as I am studying in the US at fall and I'm looking to purchase insurance with the following requirements - benefit maximum must be no less that $100,000 - Plan deductible must exceed $500 per plan deductible - minimum of $50,000 for medical evacuation and minimum of $25,000 for repatriation. Although can I purchase plan as I am currently in Australia???

A:
We would be glad to assist. We have plans for F1 visa holders (Student visa holders), as well as J1 visa holders (Exchange visitors). You're below requirements appear to be for the J1, however I am attaching the quote links for both our F1 plans and J1 plans so you can choose accordingly. If your university has additional requirements, you can forward those to us to review. /international-student-insurance/ /j1-visa-health-insurance/ There are a couple of plans that are not available if you are currently in Australia at the time of purchase. You would either purchase a different plan or you would need to wait until you are not physically in Australia to purchase.

Q:I am an English student going to be participating in a study abroad exchange program for one term at the University of North Florida. The dates that I need to be covered is from the 19th of August 2019 to January the 5th 2020. I was wondering whether your company has any policies that would fulfill the requirements that my university has set for my insurance? A proposed pricing structure would be great as well. The requirements are attached to this email. I also need to follow the guidelines of the Visa that I will have which are the following: - Medical benefits of at least $100,000 per accident or illness - Repatriation of remains in the amount of $25,000 - Expenses associated with the medical evacuation of the J1 visitor to his or her home country in the amount of $50,000 A deductible not to exceed $500 per accident or illness.

A:
We do have plans that meet the J1 requirements. The plan that we recommend for the University of North Florida is the Study USA preferred 500. Below, I have provided the link to that plan for you to review. There is also a quotes and purchase link on that page for you to run quotes to obtain pricing.

Q:I need insurance for my parents (Indian citizen) who will be travelling to US next week and then to Canada before returning to India in August end. I wanted to understand if I should buy single policy (international) or separate ones for US & Canada. Also, how will the hospitalization be paid if there is emergency on the way or in Canada if international coverage is the best option.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. You can buy one plan that will cover the US and Canada. When you run the quote in the visitor to USA section of our website you would choose International including USA under the coverage area. We can email the quotes to you if you would like to provide the details. We would need the dates of travel and the ages of the insured. If there is an emergency during travel you would contact the phone number provided on the ID card to notify the claims department and they can make arrangements with the provider directly. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact our office. The link below will take you to our visitor to USA section /visitors-insurance/
