Q:I have a disease for decades. In recent years it is usually under control with minimum dosing but in the event such as extremely sever flu or overfatigue, my disease gets worse and requires extra treatment. In case I get an insurance with coverage of acute onset of pre-existing conditions which excludes chronic conditions, or a complication or consequence of a chronic condition, does that cover such extra treatments stated above?I am wondering as my disease itself is chronic but the event I want coverage for is incidental and unexpected.
