Q:I just extended my insurance (ExchangeGuard) although my OPT F-1 status expires tomorrow although I just filed my H-1B application so I'll stay in US till a decision is made, I wanted to double check that my insurance is valid till my future employer provides my medical insurance.

A:
The ExchangeGuard is not valid for non-student visa types. You will need to cancel your extension and you can purchase Atlas America for the interim period while you await employer insurance.
