Q:We have 8 adults traveling as a group to Costa Rica January 28 through February 4. We already have the required 50,000 in medical insurance. May we purchase the 2000 lodging insurance from you for the 8 of us?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. Unfortunately, there isn't a standalone policy that will only cover the lodging expenses. You may purchase the Safe Travels Voyager plan. This plan does satisfy the requirements for Costa Rica. You may purchase this plan online or over the phone by contacting our office at +1 (866) INSUBUY. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:I (an US citizen) am thinking of sponsoring my elderly parents (both Indian citizens) for permanent residency in the US. Their ages are 83 and 72 years. What are my possibilities for their medical insurance? I'm guessing they will not get free/subsidised Medicare coverage but are there good comprehensive plans available for consideration?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. There are a few plans that would be available to them that can be found in the New Immigrant Insurance section. Keep in mind the plans will exclude coverage for pre-existing conditions, preventative and routine. Should you have additional questions or need further assistance regarding this we would recommend calling our office at +1 (866) 467-8289. It is also important to note that they would only be eligible for these plans as long as they cannot purchase a domestic plan.

Q:My father (an Indian citizen) has had a triple bypass in the past. If he wants to visit the US where I live (and am an U.S. citizen), what would be some good visitor/travel insurances that you would recommend for him? (He has a tourist/visitor B-2 visa.) The insurance is to cover accidents (e.g., breaking a leg, etc.) and also complications (if any) that might occur related to his past cardiac/kidney issues.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. There are numerous products that could be available to him, but keep in mind that all plans for visitors on the market will exclude coverage for pre-existing conditions, preventative and routine care. A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. Should you have additional questions or need further assistance please call our office at +1 (866) 467-8289.
