Q:I'm a German citizen currently in Australia on holiday for another 5 weeks and I was considering purchasing one of your plans but I noticed the following on your restrictions page: "Additional Restrictions-Proposed insureds cannot be physically located in the following countries at the time of purchase: Australia, Canada.". Because I'm currently on holiday in Australia, does that mean I cannot take out a policy? Or does it mean the restrictions only apply "IF" I cannot be physically located at the time of purchase? It's a confusing statement. Thanks for this

A:
There are some plans that will have this specific restriction that you cannot purchase the Atlas International plan if you are physically located in the country of Australia at the time of application. There is a plan called Patriot International that you can purchase for coverage while you are physically located in the country of Australia. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact our office.

Q:I work in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (J1 visa). I'm currently looking for plans for me and my baby (DOB: 11/05/2018, Dual Nationality -South Korea and U.S. Citizen).

A:
The requirements listed are standard so you would be able to purchase any of the plans in the J1/J2 section of our website. Since your child is a US citizen then we wouldn't have a plan for them. You can check with your employer to see if they offer insurance for you and the child to obtain insurance for the child.
